Parenting Place

Find out how to make the most of your child’s Early Years at the Parenting Place. This is your one-stop shop for parenting resources, information and support.
Mums, Dads, Grandparents and Caregivers of children aged 0-8 years welcome. Come along and chat to friendly and helpful people from a range of local parenting services and support organisations. You can also borrow parenting books, videos and DVDs, and find out about a range of local services and courses.

Venue: Clarkson Library, Ocean Keys Blvd, Clarkson
Dates: Tuesdays and Thursdays (during school terms)
Time: 9.30am –11.30am

The Parenting Place is a Western Australia Early Years Strategy funded project, supported by the Department for Communities, Department for Child Protection, Ngala and Child and Adolescent Community Health Division, hosted by the City of Wanneroo at Clarkson Library.

If you are interested in finding a playgroup in your local area, Playgroup WA has a list of all registered playgroups 9228 8088 or http://www.playgroupaustralia.com.au/wa/. Playgroup WA assists parents and carers of children to form playgroups, including access to group insurance, monthly publications, special events and workshops.

Children's Services Directory

The Children's Services Directory is available from the City's Branch Libraries, local Community Centers and the Civic Centre. The directory provides contact details of parenting and family support services, health services, emergency services, helplines, 3-4's programs and childcare services.
