The City of Wanneroo is proud of its rich cultural heritage that has been formed through much hard work and determination of our City’s pioneers who have helped shape our City to the unique and wonderful place it is today.

To acknowledge the valuable contributions of our pioneers the City hosts an annual Pioneers Luncheon each year and inducts pioneers who have lived in the City for 50 years or more into the City’s Pioneer Family.

The City has many heritage destinations that it encourages residents to visit to learn more about our City’s unique history. The City also hosts heritage events that provide a perfect platform for embracing the Wanneroo history. (For event information please see the City’s events page)
