Parks - Wanneroo Opportunity  Playspace
The City of Wanneroo’s newly constructed, $2 million Opportunity Playspace is located in Rotary Park, Scenic Drive, Wanneroo.

The state-of-the-art playspace features innovative, universal access play equipment that is suitable for children of all ages and abilities, and will be officially opened on Sunday, November 9.

The playspace features an elevated tree walk with viewing and play platforms, themed play modules, swings, slides, a cubby house, space net and climbing frames. For the whole family there are picnic shelters, BBQ facilities, and expansive grassed areas for sporting activities.

Natural Areas - Yanchep Boardwalk Project
The City of Wanneroo is working towards the design and construction of the foreshore pathway and boardwalk in Yanchep.

The project will connect Foreshore Vista and Compass Circle, allowing pedestrians and cyclists a continual north south link along the foreshore.

It is proposed to construct a concrete pathway, with a lookout at the northern end and a boardwalk raised above the natural ground contours, complimenting the surrounding natural environment.

The concrete pathway and boardwalk design will also allow for disabled access, and it is expected the project will be completed by June, 2009.
