Roads and Footpaths

Footpaths and Road Maintenance

The City carries out regular inspections and maintenance of all footpaths and roads. If you notice damaged footpaths or road surfaces, please contact Operations on 9405 5000. It usually takes between three to five working days for works to be completed.

Road and Street Name Signs

We all rely on road signs and traffic signals to help us use our roads safely. They warn us of danger, they let us know how fast we can travel, and when we have to stop or give way. Damaged and missing road signs present a danger to us all. Damaged regulatory signs such as 'STOP' and 'GIVE WAY' should be reported to the Mains Roads Department on 1800 800 009.

Wanneroo Bike Plan 2008

The development of a local bike plan sets local strategies and defines the local bicycle network in
relation to the Regional Bicycle Network. The local plan identifies local needs for programs and for road
and path improvements.

The main objective of bicycle planning is to encourage cycling as a desirable alternative to motor vehicle
travel.
