Industrial & Commercial Centres

With three industrial estates covering approximately 1500 ha, the City forms a key strategic node for business activity within the northern metropolitan area of Perth. These industrial estates are located in Wangara, Landsdale and Neerabup. Collectively, these areas form a manufacturing hub with the northern metropolitan area that contributes significantly to the State’s wealth.

The prime industrial land is conveniently situated along north-south and east-west arterial roads providing easy access to the Perth CBD, domestic and international airports and northern haulage routes.

Wangara and Enterprise Park

Wangara, and the more recent Enterprise Park, are home to over 1000 businesses employing over 8000 people. The latest stage of this industrial estate is the Landcorp developed Enterprise Park.

Enterprise Park is one of the most successful and innovative industrial estates in the northern suburbs and is attracting medium-sized companies, many of which incorporate advanced computer technology into their operations.

Strategically located alongside both the north-south and east-west arterial roads, Enterprise Park has easy access to the Perth CBD, domestic and international airports, northern haulage routes and Fremantle Port.

With an average annual capital growth rate of 7.7 per cent since its launch in 1989 Enterprise Park remains a highly desirable location for business.

Lansdale

Located adjacent to Wangara, the Landsdale industrial estate is the home of light and heavy industry within the City of Wanneroo.

Neerabup

Couple these established industrial areas with Neerabup Industrial Estate, which is located a short drive north of the Wanneroo Townsite, and you can see the vision unfolding. Neerabup is currently being developed and will be the centre of up to 20,000 local employment opportunities spanning approximately 1000 Hectares - this is almost double the size of Canning Vale, one of the larger industrial developments south of the Perth CBD.

The three main landowners, including the City of Wanneroo, are keen to build a local workforce, which will be supplied from surrounding neighbourhoods such as Carramar, Clarkson, Butler, Mindarie, Jindalee and beyond.

Yanchep/Two Rocks

Towards the north of the City is the future St Andrews development, which is set to become one of Australia’s flagship live and work urban communities. Situated over the suburbs of Yanchep and Two Rocks, the proposed development has a total area of 4,352 Hectares and has a projected population of 148,000 people by 2035.

The City is working in close partnership with landowners Tokyu Corporation and the State Government to maximise investment attraction and employment creation for the area.

Alkimos, Eglinton and Jindalee

Along the main coastal strip to the South of Yanchep, is the balance of urban development within the City of Wanneroo. The area incorporates Alkimos, Eglinton and Jindalee and boasts a diverse range of future residential and commercial development opportunities. Planning of these areas are now in progress with Alkimos set to be the next major commercial hub within the Northern metropolitan area.
