The City of Wanneroo's Capital Works Program is one of the largest for WA local governments, with $34 million invested in this year's budget, as well as $38 million carry forward funding from the 2008/09 budget related to projects in various stages of completion.
Over the next 12 months residents will see the results of the significant investments the City has made over the past nine years, including the Wanneroo Library and Cultural Centre and Kingsway Regional Sporting Complex Aquamotion (?)
The Capital Works Program for 2009/10 as approved by Council at its Special Meeting held on 26 June 2009 has had the following budget allocated over the following broad categories:
