Council meetings are held at the Civic Centre on a Tuesday and operate on a four week cycle, apart from the Christmas/New Year recess period, which may vary.
Council meeting dates and changes to dates or venue are also published in the Wanneroo Link, a feature in the Wanneroo Times each week.
During the recess period, delegated authority is given to the Chief Executive Officer, in conjunction with the Mayor to deal with any item of business that may arise.
