Fifteen minutes is set-aside at briefing sessions and council meetings for question time. Each person may address the council for up to three minutes.

At briefing sessions, questions must relate to the business on the briefing agenda, however at ordinary council meetings questions may relate to other matters of council.

You are encouraged to submit your questions in writing at least 30 hours prior to the start of the meeting to allow time for research. This will facilitate the provision of a detailed answer at the meeting. To download a Question Time Form, click here.
