The City of Wanneroo is thrilled to announce Australian rock band You Am I will perform in Two Rocks in February.
The free community concert will be held at Charnwood Reserve, Two Rocks on Saturday 11 February.
Fronted by Tim Rogers, You Am I have made a mark on the Australian music scene since their debut album Sound As Ever was released in 1993, which went on to win an ARIA Award for Best Alternative Release.
The band’s success continued as they went on to create their following albums, which led to a string of singles including Purple Sneakers, Mr Milk, Soldiers and Erasmus.
You Am I are renowned for their live performances, which is sure to continue for their Two Rocks show.
Come along early and let the kids have some fun with the roving entertainment, bouncy castle and face-painting.
Then settle in for an evening of entertainment with top cover band Stone Circle getting the crowd in the mood early on, ahead of the main act You Am I.
Wanneroo Mayor Tracey Roberts said the City is proud to be able to support a free concert for local residents.
“What a fantastic way to spend a summer evening in the City of Wanneroo, with great entertainment,” Mayor Roberts said.
“Pack a picnic, bring the family and enjoy the free concert under the stars in Two Rocks.”
