Artists from across Western Australia are invited to enter the 2011 City of Wanneroo Art Awards.
With $12,000 worth of prizes on offer, it is one of the richest Art Awards the City has put on.
Wanneroo Mayor Jon Kelly said there were several categories in this year's awards.
"As well as the City of Wanneroo Open Award, there are also fantastic prizes on offer for the Best City of Wanneroo Resident, People's Choice, Painting, Sculpture and Works on Paper," Mayor Kelly said.
"This is one of our favourite events, and now we have a purpose built space for our Awards Exhibition, our spectacular Gallery in the Wanneroo Library and Cultural Centre."
Entries to the Art Awards close 4pm on Friday, 29 April. An entry fee of $15 applies to each work with a maximum of one entry allowed per person.
The Art Awards Exhibition will be open to the public from Saturday, 21 May to Sunday, 19 June.

Painting - $1000 overall / $500 commendation
