Kingsway City shopping centre is set for a major revamp that will include a variety of commercial, retail, residential and civic uses.
Key aspects of the proposed Kingsway expansion include:
- An additional 16,425sqm of shop/retail floor space
- A new supermarket and discount department store
- 1,800sqm of office floor space
- The development of a Town Square area incorporating a City of Wanneroo Library plus a tavern, cafes and various restaurants
- A five storey residential complex, starting on the second floor of the development, containing 56 serviced apartments
- A liquor store on the north-western portion of the lot
- Two new fast-food restaurants to the western portion of the lot, abutting Wanneroo Road.
Public comment is now being sought on the proposed expansion plans.
