Our Rangers act as eyes and ears of the community throughout the City of Wanneroo.
Rangers carry out regular patrols from north to south, and are a vital part of helping to make our community a safer place to live.
While there are many things Rangers can help with, there are several other areas that can only be handled by emergency services.
“Our Rangers provide advice and assistance to our residents in many different ways, from helping them find lost pets and managing the Animal Care Centre, to patrolling our streets, to dealing with abandoned vehicles,” Mayor Kelly said.
When calling City of Wanneroo Rangers, residents can help by providing as much information as possible so Community Safety Patrols and Rangers can respond to incidents quickly, such as:
- nature of the incident
- time and location
- number and description of people involved
- vehicle description and number plates
