Wanneroo Showgrounds is the place to be this Saturday, when seven-time Aria Award nominated band Evermore take to the stage for the City of Wanneroo’s Beach to Bush Festival concert.
The hit-makers will play all of the songs they have become known for, including It’s Too Late (Ride On), Light Surrounding You, Hey Boys And Girls and Running, as well as some of their new tracks.
The free family concert is arguably the highlight of the Beach to Bush Festival, with the Hume brothers taking to the stage at 8pm
But there will be plenty to do prior to the main event.
Gates open at 4pm and there will be plenty of children’s activities, including bouncy castle, free face painting and roving entertainment.
WAM together with Catch Music and Billy Hyde Music will host a live jam session at the concert’s youth area. As well as the jam sessions, Freestyle Now will host a series of BMX demonstrations by elite BMX athletes.
Stunt riders Kie Ashworth, fresh from his America trip, Dave Pinelli who no doubt will be throwing some mean dipped 360′s, Shaun Jarvis who will be just getting back from stunt shows in Queensland and special guest riders will all be showing off their skills at the event.
The Butcher Shop will be doing live paint demonstrations, workshops and a live mural art project will be displayed, while the City’s Programs Team will be engaging with the youth and running activities such as fuse ball competitions, sports activities, hair and nail art and a chill out area.
Australian pop rockers Boys Boys Boys! will get the crowd going as the support act kicking off at 7pm, with their combination of catchy pop riffs, sugary all-girl vocal harmonies and slick dance moves.
