Have your say in Wanneroo survey

Tuesday, 06 Sep 2011
City of Wanneroo residents may get a call over the next few weeks, as part of a telephone survey of the local community.

This is just one of the methods the City is using to target a large cross-section of residents for a community survey, with focus groups and shopping centre surveys taking place during October.

Market researchers will be asking residents of various ages, in all four wards, questions covering a range of important topics about living in the area, including how the City communicates with them, as well as community safety and libraries.

Wanneroo Mayor Jon Kelly encouraged any resident aged over 14 to participate.

“Community opinion is very important to the City of Wanneroo, as it helps us provide the best services for our residents,” Mayor Kelly said.

“It will only take a few minutes, and this information will go towards shaping the future of our City’s day-to-day operations.”

Participants of the telephone survey will go in the draw to win an iPad2, worth $579.
