Australian rock band You Am I rocked Charnwood Reserve in Two Rocks on Saturday night at the City of Wanneroo’s annual free summer concert.
Around 2000 people enjoyed the evening of entertainment, which began with activities for the kids.
Perth band Stone Circle kicked off the musical aspect of the night, entertaining the crowd with plenty of popular songs that had people singing along while enjoying their picnics.
And then it was time for the band, which was described by Rolling Stone magazine as a national treasure, to take to the stage.
You Am I, fronted by Tim Rogers, delivered a polished performance, displaying their musical brilliance.
The band showed why they have made a mark on the Australian music scene, and were impressive with their live performance.
Many members of the crowd, both young and old, flocked to the front of the stage and set up an impromptu dance-floor, a sure indicator of how much they enjoyed the concert.
The City’s next free summer concert Global Beats and Eats will be held at Liddell Reserve, Girrawheen on 10 March.
