WELCOME TO THE CITY OF WANNEROO

The centre for creative and sustainable growth, delivering strong, vibrant and connected communities.

The City of Wanneroo is WA's fastest growing local government authority spanning both urban and rural areas. Our estimated population is 167,651 as of June 2012; over the last year the City's population increased by 7,340 people (4.6% growth rate). We service an area of 683 square kilometres, which includes bushland, wetlands, urban and rural areas as well as 32 kilometres of beautiful coastline.

We respectfully acknowledge the traditional owners of the land encompassed by the City of Wanneroo, and pay our respects to the Noongar Elders past, present and future, for they hold the history, the cultural practice and traditions of their people.
