Program Descriptions

Chill Out
Allows young people from 12 to 19 years to drop in and join the fun. Provides an opportunity to relax in a comfortable environment, were you can interact with others, shoot some pool, have a hit of table tennis, listen to music, play some games or have a chat to a youth worker.

Fighting Fit
Get a solid workout, with an hour of skipping, running and jumping, PLUS use of the punching pads and other boxing equipment. This is an excellent exercise regime, combining aerobic and anaerobic workouts - GREAT for those wanting to gain general fitness.
Open to both males and females from 12-19 years.
Bring your towel, water bottle and gloves (some gloves and pads supplied)
First timers please arrive 15 minutes early)

Hainsworth GEMS - Girls Exclusive Meeting Space
An afternoon program tailored especially for female’s aged 12 - 18 were they can paint nails, do makeup, make arts & craft, create some jewelry... Basically girls stuff for girls only!

Clarkson Mainframe
A computer based program to assist young people in learning valuable skills such as resume building plus heaps of games. If that doesn’t interest you, the chill out room is still open.

Clarkson Underground
A program that focuses on young people who have an interest in skate boarding or skating, to show case their talents in skate comps. If it's a rainy day there is still plenty to do in the Youth Room.

Clarkson Battle Zone
This program is designed to give young people an opportunity to participate in a range of fun and competitive activities with their peers.

Just Jammin
Opportunity for young people to express their talents through music. Even if you're just starting out or are interested in learning new skills then check it out. Vocal PA, Guitar and drum kit supplied. BYO Instruments.

Yanchep GEMS
A girl’s only social group to hang out with friends. Dance, games, arts & crafts, make up, fashion design, cooking and much much more.

Game ON!
Fun sporting competitions in a friendly environment. Basketball, AFL, table tennis, Wii and much more.

You Rock
Out reach program providing a variety of fun, outdoor activities and a chance to chat. Skate comps, kite making, circus workshop, scavenger hunts, hip-hop and much more.

TGI Friday
Chances to talk, listen to music, cook and eat your own food and have fun!

Outreach Service
The City of Wanneroo's Youth Outreach Service develops strengths and empowers young people by working alongside families within the community to promote a safe and inclusive environment within which they can thrive.
