The Community Development Officer's at the City can also be contacted at any time for support with local initiative community groups may be involved in. The Community Development Officer's at the City of Wanneroo can assist in matters regarding incorporation of an association, finding a suitable venue for meetings/programs, recruiting volunteers and best practice, how to engage people with disabilities in your group/programs, and other general matters that groups may face.
Grants Officer Assistance
The City's Grants Officer manages a variety of funding programs including Community Funding grant rounds, Student Scholarships and Hallmark Event Funding. The Grants Office is also able to assist community groups in identifying funding opportunities including grants offered by the City and grants from external organisations.
