PROPOSED TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT SCHEME – KOONDOOLA AVENUE FROM ELLERBY WAY TO BURBRIDGE AVENUE (EAST), KOONDOOLA
The City is proposing to install a Traffic Management Scheme on the above road to reduce traffic speeds and reduce motor vehicle crashes. This scheme will include two raised median intersections, two blister islands and an extended median island.
These works have been considered necessary as a result of concerns raised by residents and the subsequent Traffic Investigation, which identified high traffic speeds and high crash numbers along this section of the road.
Letters have been sent to local residents, with an invitation to provide feedback on options for the scheme by Monday, 12 February 2017.
