Information

Amendment No. 2 to the North Alkimos Agreed Structure Plan No. 73

Public comment is invited on the abovementioned amendment which proposes to redistribute the retail net lettable area (NLA) between two centres within the North Alkimos Structure Plan area. This will result in Centre 1 (Coastal Village) having an increased allocation of Retail NLA from 3,577m2 to 6,000m2 and Centre 3 (corner Marmion and Shorehaven) having a reduction of allocation of Retail NLA from 2,620m2 to 600m2. There are also associated modifications to the Part 1 plans to reduce the extent of the commercial zone associated with Centre 3.

Please note: The structure plan amendment is being advertised in accordance with the Planning and Development (Local Planning Schemes) Regulations 2015 to seek public comment on the proposal and has not been endorsed by Council. A full assessment of the proposal will be undertaken during and after the advertising period and a recommendation will be made to the Western Australian Planning Commission on the proposal.
