Banksia Grove District Open Space - Changerooms and Floodlights

In 2009, the City of Wanneroo partnered with the Department of Education & Training (DET) and Banksia Grove Development Nominees (BGDN) and engaged consultants to develop the Banksia Grove Education and District Open Space (BGDOS) Concept Plan Report.   This report formed the basis of the development of the BGDOS and informed the budget for subsequent years.

Council adopted the 2015/16 budget that includes the development of the detailed design for the BGDOS Changerooms and Floodlighting and as such has developed a draft concept plan; see 'Document Library' below.  The concept plan includes 4 changerooms, 4 storerooms, first aid room, umpires room, male & female toilets as well as a multipurpose hall with kitchen facilities.

The City would like the local residents and sporting clubs to provide feedback to ensure that the final design meets the community needs. Comments can be submitted via post or email with details included in the 'Get Involved' section below. 

Please submit your comments before 14 March 2016. 

A community sausage sizzle will be held at the Banksia Grove Community Centre. Details are included below in the 'Key Dates' section. This event will allow interested community members the opportunity to view the draft concept plan and make comment to the City’s Officers.
