To celebrate the rich and changing diversity of the City of Wanneroo, a series of Living Books sessions will be held in our Libraries in 2017.
Living Books is interactive storytelling where a person becomes a ‘book’ and allows participants to interact with them, challenging labels and preconceptions about others. Invited presenters will share their stories to small intimate groups with participants able to hear several stories during the session.
Morning tea will be provided.
Are you passionate about your community and want to share your story and connect with people?
We are looking for volunteers for the first session on the 21 March in celebration of Harmony Week, the focus of this session is cultural and linguistic diversity.
If you are interested in discussing this opportunity further, please contact the City of Wanneroo Diversity Officer – Inclusion and CaLD, Alina Hobson, on 9405 5918 or email: firstname.lastname@example.org.
