Rubbish collection

The City of Wanneroo does not provide a rubbish collection service for non-residential properties. Private waste collection services are available for businesses. You can search online to find a service near you:

Littering and illegal dumping of rubbish

If you are aware of any illegal dumping (litter, rubble, waste), contact the City of Wanneroo Ranger Services. Vehicle registration numbers of offenders should be recorded where possible as this will assist in investigations.

Mindarie Regional Council (MRC)

The MRC, WA's largest waste management authority, manages the disposal of about 350,000 tonnes of waste generated each year by people living in its seven government localities.

The MRC's services include:

  • landfill operations at Tamala Park
  • a resource recovery facility at Neerabup
  • transfer station
  • refuse and recycling
  • free firewood
  • household hazardous waste disposal.
