Spring into nature in Wanneroo

Spring is just around the corner and is the ideal time to get out and enjoy the great outdoors.

The City of Wanneroo’s annual Spring Activities provide the perfect opportunity to see the incredible natural areas the City has, with a range of guided walks, bushcare days and workshops.

The first event is a guided bushwalk on Saturday, 11 September in the Marangaroo Conservation Reserve, followed by a host of other entertaining and informative events.

BUSHCARE EVENTS
Get to know your neighbours and help care for your local bushland by taking part in a bushcare event in the City of Wanneroo.

GUIDED WALKS
Explore the bush with an experienced guide who will introduce you to an array of plants and animals living in your local conservation reserve.

Please bring a water bottle and wear sturdy enclosed shoes, hat and sun cream.
Morning tea provided.

WORKSHOPS
Volunteer Guide to Bushland Weeds
Sunday 18 September 2016 9am – 1:30pm
In partnership with Perth Natural Resource Management, the workshop will cover identification and management techniques for bushland weeds.
Registration essential.

WA BEACH CLEAN UP
Tangaroa Blue WA Beach Clean Up
Saturday 15 & Sunday 16 October 2015
