Hester Avenue / Hidden Valley Retreat Temporary Intersection Closure

To facilitate the upgrade of Hester Avenue, the Hester Avenue/Hidden Valley Retreat intersection will be closed from 10 September to late October 2016, weather permitting.
CLOSURE LOCATION: Hester Avenue/Hidden Valley Retreat intersection
DATE: 10 September to late October 2016, weather permitting
DETOUR: Walyunga Boulevard / Porongorup Drive
WHY: To facilitate the upgrade of Hester Avenue as part of the Mitchell Freeway Extension: Burns Beach Road to Hester Avenue project
OTHER INFORMATION: We also wish to advise that when the intersection re-opens, the right turn from Hidden Valley Retreat to Hester Avenue (eastbound) will be permanently closed for the safety of road users. In its final format, access to Hester Avenue (eastbound) will be available via the new roundabout at Ridgewood Boulevard.
