Published Monday, 12th September 2016

Pamper your pooch with a FREE day out at the City of Wanneroo’s Living & Leisure Expo ft. Dogs Breakfast on 23 October.

Living and Leisure Expo ft Dogs Breakfast

The City, in partnership with WA Pet Project, is offering free microchipping for the first 100 dogs in attendance. Claim your microchipping token from the City of Wanneroo marquee and head to the WA Pet Project stall where your dog will be microchipped onsite.

Enter your four-legged friend into the Next Top Dog Model competition with over $5,000 in prizes to be won or have your photo taken with your pooch at the pet friendly photo booth.

Dogs will be spoilt for choice with free vet checks and discounted microchipping onsite from Edgewater Veterinary Hospital, Sorrento Animal Hospital and Emergency Vet Hospital.

Treat your beloved pup to the ultimate physical and mental challenge by taking them on the agility obstacle course.

Our friendly City of Wanneroo Rangers will be in attendance taking pet registrations and will be taking to the main stage for an interactive Q & A with Innis Cloete from Kingsway Veterinary Centre.

Residents are reminded that all dogs more than three months old must be microchipped under the Western Australian Dog Act Amendment 2013.

All dogs at the expo must be on a lead and kept under control at all times during the event. Please ensure all other pets including cats are left at home.

The Living & Leisure Expo ft. Dogs Breakfast will be held at Kingsway Regional Sporting Complex from 9am to 1pm.

Exhibits will showcase local products and services for the home, leisure, pets and adventure with free children’s entertainment, workshops, live demonstrations, competitions and giveaways.

The City thanks sponsors Community News, NOVA 93.7and Houndstooth Studio for their support.
