Prohibited Burning Period to begin 20 November

The Prohibited Burning Period is being brought forward from 1 December due to seasonal conditions, including prevailing weather and low soil moisture content.

No further fire permits are to be issued, and current permits will only be valid until 19 November, 2017.

Any permits to burn will be invalid after this date.

The decision has been made in consultation with relevant authorities.
