Christmas in Wanneroo 2017

Christmas cheer will be abundant across the City of Wanneroo throughout December, with several community Christmas celebration events.

The City is proud to be supporting several of these events through its Community Funding Progam, allowing local residents to get in the festive spirit and enjoy this magical time of year with family and friends.

Twice a year the City provides opportunities for community groups and organisations to apply for funding support, with the next round opening in February 2018.

The following events are supported by the City of Wanneroo for 2017:

Community Christmas Carols
The Salvation Army Merriwa

Yanchep Two Rocks Community Recreation Association

Saturday 9 December // 5pm
Charnwood Park, Two Rocks

Carols on the Green (formerly Somerly Carols in the Park)
True North Church Merriwa

Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 December // 6.30pm
869 Connolly Drive, Merriwa
Carols and fireworks!

Girradoola Community Christmas Celebration
Sunday 10 December // 1pm
Roseworth Primary School Oval, Girrawheen
Local event – parking is limited

Wanneroo Community Carols by Candlelight
Wanneroo Residents and Ratepayers Association

Sunday 10 December // 7.30pm
Jacaranda Amphitheatre
23 Dundebar Road, Wanneroo
Bring a picnic rug or chair for seating

Wanneroo Christmas Lunch
Monday 25 December // 12pm
Margaret Cockman Pavilion, Wanneroo Showgrounds, Wanneroo.
This event is supported by the City and organised by local churches to offer those in need of company a chance to celebrate with a hot lunch, carols and a Christmas message.
