Caravan and Trailer Safety Checks

The City of Wanneroo will once again be hosting free caravan and trailer checks.
Motorists can take their caravan or trailer to the City’s Ashby Operations Centre on Saturday, 17 March to be inspected, ensuring it is safe to tow.
Past inspections have uncovered a range of faults including worn brakes and wheel bearings, electrical problems, suspension issues and worn tyres – all of which have the potential to contribute to crashes.
The road safety initiative, organised by the City’s RoadWise Working Group, aims to give motorists peace of mind before travelling during the busy Easter and school holiday period.
