Headlining trio Kingswood wowed the crowd with their eclectic sounds of old school R’n’B mixed with rock’n’roll and soul.

Returning favourites Jakubi set the stage on fire with their slick and sizzling buffet of pop, R’n’B, hip-hop, rock and smooth soul.

Support acts also included Western Australia’s own Luke Fox, Australian singer/songwriter Hein Cooper and Kiwi band Summer Thieves.

There were spectacular displays of colourful roving musicians and dancers, while children were kept entertained with free activities including drumming workshops, tribal face painting and headband making.

The cultural festivities were complemented by a tantalising selection of cuisines, with food trucks representing all corners of the world from Mexico to France.

Global Beats & Eats brought the City of Wanneroo’s events season to a close. Stay tuned for announcements about the next events season which kicks off in spring.
