City of Wanneroo Presents: The Jungle Giants

Wanneroo Showgrounds will come alive on 3 November with the electric energy and indie-rock sounds of Australian act, The Jungle Giants, headliners for this year’s City of Wanneroo Presents Concert.
Renowned for their energetic live sets filled with charging dance hooks and contagious choruses, The Jungle Giants have played shows across North America, Asia and New Zealand. Locally, they have rocked venues all around Australia, with successful appearances at many festivals.
Mayor Tracey Roberts is encouraging the community to come along and enjoy the free, family-friendly event, with the Wanneroo gig the only chance to see The Jungle Giants in Perth this year.
“Our City of Wanneroo Presents concert is a favourite for our residents and certainly a highlight on my calendar each year,” Mayor Roberts said.
“What is better than an evening of free entertainment, catering for everyone in the family with brilliant live music and children’s activities!
“There will also be an array of delicious food available from some of Perth’s best food trucks, or pack a picnic and enjoy a laid-back night under the stars.” The four-piece band dominated this year’s coveted triple j Hottest 100 – the only independent act to achieve four entries, including a top 20 inclusion with ‘Feel the Way I Do’.
Their third album Quiet Ferocity has produced several hit singles and received widespread praise, racking up well over 50 million Spotify streams and even getting the tick of approval from publications such as Rolling Stone.
Not a bad effort for an album produced and recorded entirely themselves!
The complete line-up for Wanneroo Presents will be announced later this month.

Tickets are FREE but essential and will be available exclusively to City of Wanneroo residents from 9am Monday 1 October, with a second release planned for 6pm Wednesday 3 October. Any remaining tickets will open to the general public at 9am Friday 12 October.
