 Are you ready to cull your collection of old obsolete technology? Do you have some old tyres that need to tread the path towards recycling? 

Yes, it’s that time of year again! Our annual Community Waste Drop-Off Weekend at the Ashby Operations Centre is coming up on 20 and 21 April so time to delve into the shed, home office and purge those items you no longer need. 

Dispose of unwanted tyres, e-waste, bulk cardboard and polystyrene for free and give them a second life through being recycled or reused.

We are committed to increasing the recovery of household waste to 67% by 2025, with the drop-off weekend helping us to achieve this target. 

Wannagrow Home giveaway 

We are also giving away 500 native plant bundles to residents at the drop off day! Drop in early to make sure you get a free native tree and shrubs for your garden through the City's Wannagrow Home program.

Then visit the Wanneroo Schoolhouse next door where you can make an heirloom to take home with our hands on weaving activities. With colourful threads and patterns to choose from, you can make your very own masterpiece as a memory of your visit.
