COVID-19 Recovery

The City of Wanneroo is reopening a number of community services and facilities in line with Phase 3 of the State Government’s COVID-19 Roadmap to Recovery.

For a full list of the proposed services and facilities opening, including restrictions and guidelines, please see below:

Aquamotion

Opening hours

Aquamotion will be operating under their winter hours schedule.

  • Mon-Thur // 5:30am to 8pm
  • Friday //  5:30am to 7pm
  • Saturday // 7:30am to 1:45pm
  • Sunday // 8am to 12:30pm

Restrictions and patronage

  • Indoor aquatics - 100 people
  • Indoor program pool - 15 people
  • Indoor group fitness - 25 people, 30 for Aqua
  • Gym - 75 people
  • Spa - 8 people
  • Sauna - 3 people

Current services available

The following services are now available. You will need to pre-book via our online booking system.

  • Gym open from Monday 8 June.
  • Public access to both the indoor pool and group fitness classes.
  • Hydrotherapy sessions, Aqua Attack Swimming Club, Nifty Fifties classes and lap lanes will be available.
  • Spa/sauna
  • Creche limited to 22 children - bookings made by contacting 9405 5999.
  • All services are required to be pre-booked. Hourly spots are available.
  • Minimum casual use of the pool will be available.
  • Casual entry fees apply.
  • Social distancing regulations apply.

Libraries

Opening hours

  • Mon-Fri // 9am to 5:30pm
  • Saturdays, 9am to 1pm from Saturday 6 June.

Restrictions and patronage

  • Clarkson - 100 people
  • Girrawheen - 50 people.
  • Two Rocks - 50 people.
  • Wanneroo - 100 people.

Current services available

  • Borrowing library resources.
  • Public computer access (cleaned after each use).
  • Patrons must maintain social distancing. 
  • JP signing
    • Wanneroo Library: Wednesdays 9am - 12noon
    • Clarkson Library : Thursday 9am to 12 noon
  • Programs to resume week commencing 15 June 2020.

  • Yanchep Youth Centre - Outreach approach Monday and Wednesday // 3:30pm to 6:30pm

  • Clarkson - 25 people (both rooms)
  • Hainsworth - 37 people
  • Wanneroo - 20 people

From 3pm Tuesday 19 May, playing fields have reopened, dependent on availability.

  • 100 people permitted per undivided or outdoor space.
  • 300 people permitted in total venue.

  • Access for regular hirers only.
  • Full access to sports amenities buildings.
  • Priority given to current winter season hire groups.

City of Wanneroo COVID-19 Safety Plans

The City is working towards the path to recovery and reopening many of our popular facilities and programs.

In line with Phase 2 of the State Government’s COVID-19 Roadmap to Recovery, our sport/recreation and community facilities are required to complete a COVID Safety Plan.
