Key Facts

As part of the 2021 State Election the City of Wanneroo was awarded a commitment of $2.6M towards an All Abilities Playground within the Burns Beach electorate, which includes the suburbs of Clarkson, Mindarie, Neerabup and Tamala Park. 

Proposed works includes:

  • 2021/22: Site investigation, planning, survey, concept and consultation.
  • 2022/23: Detailed design, consultancies (arborist, service, irrigation, structural design, play safety review).
  • 2023/24: Construction.

This project will also meet a number of outcomes within the City's Access and Inclusion Plan [4] in particular Objective 2.3: Improve accessibility opportunities for people with a disability to use public open space facilities.
