About the position

We are seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst to support migration of the City’s partial ERP platform (Civica Authority) from on-premise to a SaaS cloud environment.  This temporary position will play a central role in the project initiation, configuration design and strategy phase, including:

  • Review and analysis of current configuration, integration and reporting;
  • Implement planning and technical discovery activities such as supporting baseline performance checks;
  • Identify and document configuration changes that need to be actioned as part of the transition, including updates to hardcoded path definitions, custom reports or legacy procedures;
  • Implement identified configuration changes in development environments;
  • Identify system enhancement and business process improvement opportunities;
  • Collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders to optimise project plan delivery;
  • Develop user test cases.

About you

As a collaborative member of the Business Systems team, you will support achievement of the City's objectives and improved business efficiencies through integrated systems.  Applicants must be able to demonstrate through their CV and covering letter that they meet the following capabilities:

  • Qualification in a relevant discipline such as Information Systems or relevant experience.
  • Relevant experience in a similar role within a large organisation.
  • Experience with enterprise business systems (Civica Authority highly desirable)
  • Experience in efficient utilisation of information systems and technology
  • Advanced computing, numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Organisational skills.
  • Customer service and communication skills.
  • Research and analysis skills.
  • Problem solving, negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Knowledge of process improvement methodologies.
  • Knowledge of the practical application of Work Health and Safety measures in the workplace including hazard identification in an office environment.
