Road Projects - Mindarie – Quinns Rocks to Mindarie Foreshore – Footpath Renewal

This renewal will include the widening and resurfacing of the existing footpath along the Quinns Rocks to Mindarie Foreshore to enhance usability and revitalise the precinct. 

Works required

• Pruning vegetation (February 2026)
• Street sweeping loose material and crack sealing (March 2026)
• Footpath shoulder widening (March to April 2026)
• Red asphalt installation (April 2026)

Works are scheduled to commence from mid-February 2026.  Completion is anticipated by the end of April 2026.

Footpath closures

• Footpath closures will be required throughout these works with full detours in place.  
• Signage will be in place three (3) weeks prior to the footpath closures which will communicate that intermittent closures / detours will be required.  
• Variable Message Boards will also be in place which will detail the actual closure dates/times.   
• During construction, temporary traffic management and relevant signage will be in place to safely manage traffic and pedestrians around the worksite. 
• Whilst it is inevitable that works of this nature will cause some inconvenience, every endeavour will be made to ensure this is kept to a minimum.
