Rock out at Symphony under the Stars!

The City of Wanneroo will host this spectacular family-friendly evening at Kingsway Regional Sporting Complex on Saturday 25 February. Get ready to be entertained!

Perth Symphony Orchestra will have you dancing the night away with all your favourite Aussie rock classics, including:

• Great Southern Land
• The Horses
• Never Tear Us Apart
• Beds Are Burning
• Don’t Dream It’s Over

Pre-show entertainment

From 5pm, The Challenge Brass Band will kick off the evening’s entertainment in the activity zone. Established in 1987, the Challenge Brass Band has a focus on inclusivity and welcomes players of all ages and abilities with a love for music.

Up next is the Joondalup Symphony Orchestra’s string ensemble performing a variety of rock and pop hits. The Joondalup Symphony Orchestra pride themselves on their diverse repertoire and are all about creativity, passion and fun!

From 6pm you can enjoy the musical stylings of Simone Monaco Saxophonist on the main stage. Simone has been playing saxophone since 1992 and knows how to turn any gathering of people into a good time!

Other entertainers include Jordan Anthony from The Voice Australia 2019, and our talented winner and runners-up from the City of Wanneroo's Search for a Star competition.

Perth Symphony Orchestra will hit the stage from 7pm to 9.30pm.

Activity zone

There will be a range of children's games on offer including musical crafts and mini golf, plus sporting activities hosted by clubs from Kingsway Regional Sporting Complex. 

Seating 

To make sure everyone can enjoy the show, signage will be in place marking out areas for picnic blankets, low seating and other seating. 

Food options

Pack a picnic from home or pick up a delicious dinner from the food trucks.
