Time-based Encounters is a curated survey style exhibition that broadly traces the developments of media art from its historical origins through to contemporary practices.
The exhibition has four themes: new media from the 1960s and 70s, contemporary art, First Nations experiences and slow / mediative art.
It features significant video works from international and national artists and is delivered in partnership with the National Gallery of Australia, Sharing the National Collection program.
