Delivered in partnership with the British Museum, this world-class exhibition features 21 high-resolution images of Delany’s “paper mosaiks” of plants and flowers.

Community Emergency Preparedness Event

Two children at a City event

With winter approaching, storms and flooding have the potential to impact us all. Just one emergency event where being informed and prepared can make a real difference for you and your neighbours.

You can take proactive steps to protect your family, homes and animals by attending a free community event at Bunnings Mindarie on Saturday, 18 April 2026.

The City’s Emergency Management Team will be on hand to help locals understand the risks posed by storms, bushfires and other hazards.

Attendees can chat to firefighters and emergency services volunteers, watch live demonstrations and access practical information on creating an emergency plan.

This family‑friendly event will feature a petting zoo, children’s activities and a fundraising sausage sizzle supporting local emergency volunteers.

Resource Recovery Weekend image

Clear out your home and recycle responsibly by dropping off old tyres, e‑waste, cardboard and polystyrene at the City’s Resource Recovery Weekend.
