The art awards provide an opportunity for artists living in Western Australia to exhibit and sell their work while competing in the chance to win a share of the $20,000 prize pool.

With an updated prize structure for this year, the award celebrates a diverse range of artistic practices, from emerging and young artists through to sculpture and First Nations art, ensuring every artist has a chance to showcase their skills. 

Prize category 

• Overall Winner - $10,000
• Sculpture Award - $2,500
• First Nations Award - $2,500
• Local Resident Award - $2,000
• Emerging Artist Award - $1,500
• Young Artist Award* - $1,000
• People’s Choice Award - $500

*The Young Artist Award is open to artists aged 16-21 years.
