Dunes Beach Resort reaches major tourism milestone

Located at Lot 211 (2) Quinns Road, Mindarie, the completed resort includes 38 ensuite glamping tents, a reception building, a café/restaurant (Sandara) and function space catering for up to 240 patrons. The project also incorporates landscaped open spaces and facilities for the community.

The City of Wanneroo supported the redevelopment through a long-term ground lease arrangement, with Dunes Beach Resort privately funded, developed and operated by Eco Tourism Pty Ltd.

Mayor Linda Aitken said the completion marked an exciting milestone for the City’s Visitor Economy Strategy.

“Dunes Beach Resort adds a unique accommodation offering to our coastline while creating another place for locals and visitors to discover Wanneroo," she said.

"It complements the attractions already available in the Quinns Rocks and Mindarie area, supports local jobs and businesses and expands accommodation options in the region.

"With the resort now complete and opening this month, we're looking forward to seeing it welcome its first guests and become part of our vibrant coastal community.”

Eco Tourism Pty Ltd Director Russell Percival said the team was excited to welcome visitors through the doors.
