About the program
The City of Wanneroo’s annual School Leadership Program is designed to give students the tools, confidence, and opportunities to lead positive change in their community. Since 2019, almost 600 students from local schools have participated, developing essential skills that prepare them for life beyond the classroom.
This program supports students to build their leadership capability, while fostering a sense of shared community responsibility and pride. Through interactive forums, hands-on projects, and collaboration with peers and community leaders, students learn how to turn ideas into action and make a real impact.
