Waste vouchers are now online
The City has introduced an online portal that allows eligible residents to access waste vouchers digitally.
Eligible households can use their vouchers at the Wangara Recycling Facility free of charge when presenting a valid voucher (with QR code) and identification.
Available vouchers
- Clean green waste drop-off - up to four visits per year
- Recycling and e-waste drop-off - unlimited visits
- Compost or shredded greens - up to two visits per year (choose either six bags of compost, or one 6x4 trailer load of shredded greens)
How to access your vouchers
To register you will need:
- Your property assessment number from your rates notice
Registration steps:
- Visit wanneroo.residentservices.com.au and create an account*.
- Verify your property by selecting your suburb and street address.
- Enter your property assessment number.
- Review and accept the terms and conditions.
- Access your waste vouchers through your account.

Before vouchers can be issued, your landlord, real estate agent or housing officer must verify that you live at the property.
Registration steps:
- Visit wanneroo.residentservices.com.au and create an account*.
- Verify your property by seleting your suburb and street address.
- Select your real estate agent.
- If your agent is not listed, select 'My agent isn't listed' and enter their contact details.
- An email will be sent to your landlord, agent or housing officer requesting approval.
- You will receive an email once your application has been approved.
- Access your waste vouchers through your account.

Before you arrive, please access and download your voucher. Mobile coverage in this area may be limited.
Remember to bring:
- Your voucher QR code (on your phone or printed)
- Valid ID showing current address
