Retro Rewind is back this March so get ready to swing your hips and tap your toes as we take you back in time for a day of vintage frivolity and fun at the beautiful surrounds of Yanchep National Park
This year, three brilliant bands will grace the stage for your musical pleasure.
PROOF will be sure to get the Retro Rewind dance floor pumping, with the ten-piece band set to play a range of hits from the days of old. The versatile band have previously shared the stage with the Australian music industry’s finest, supporting Guy Sebastian, Ruby Rose, DJ Havana Brown, Psuedo Echo, Hunters and Collectors and Daryl Braithwaite, as well as international superstar Chris Isaak.
AMANDA DEE & SOOTHE
Supporting PROOF will be soulful sounds of Amanda Dee & Soothe. Amanda Dee’s awe inspiring vocal range and Soothe’s smooth tunes will delight any music lover with their uplifting old school beats.
BANG BANG BETTY & THE H-BOMBS
Also hitting the stage will be Bang Bang Betty and the H-Bombs. The band will blow the crowd away with their hip swinging 50s style rock’n’roll.
THE VINTAGE COLLECTIVE MARKETS
Enjoy a spot of shopping at The Vintage Collective Markets where you can browse through more than 60 delightful stalls for that special vintage find.
There will also be a vintage hot rod display for car enthusiasts as well as Miss Lady Lace’s pin-up parade which is a fabulous celebration of the beauty and individuality of women embracing their inner pin-up.
ACTIVITIES FOR THE YOUNG AND OLD
Other event attractions include retro arcade games and vintage lawn games. The kids will be kept entertained for hours with free activities on offer including a bouncy castle, flower crown making and face painting.
Young and old alike will also be able to partake in swing dance workshops and get dressed up to have their photos taken in the vintage photo booth.
This free family friendly event runs from 1pm to 5pm with Yanchep National Park entry fees waived for Retro Rewind attendees from 12pm onwards.
Be sure to take the opportunity to explore the natural beauty of Yanchep National Park. The Park’s normal daily tour program will be available (fees apply).
