Proof of Age: all bookings must ensure that the correct birthdate for each child is entered, and must upload appropriate proof of age document for each child to confirm a booking (see below). You will not be able to proceed with booking until this step is finalised.

Accepted proof of age documents include: birth certificate/extract, school registration, passport, student card etc.

There is the option to upload proof of age to the online application or you can email it to youth.services@wanneroo.wa.gov.au

‘Pop’ into the museum this school holidays as we celebrate the arrival of Andy Warhol’s pop art in the gallery! 

Explore the vibrant and historic landmarks, objects and people that define our city. Ignite your curiosity as we uncover the stories of Wanneroo, from Wangara Kali to King Neptune. With activities for all ages, our holiday program will create lasting memories as you immerse yourself in our rich heritage with photo booth selfies, activities, clue hunts, and pop art crafts. Come join us as we celebrate Iconic Wanneroo!

The Youth Team is visiting Two Rocks!

Head on over to Charnwood Park for a hoppin' good time this Easter! Get creative with fun craft actvities, nibble on delicious hot cross buns, and take part in an exciting egg hunt. Don't miss out on these egg-cellent activities that will have you enjoying the Easter fun.

Skate Jam - age 6+

Where: Grandis Park, Banksia Grove
Cost: FREE

The Youth Team is hosting a Skate Jam at Banksia Grove Skate Park!

The Freestyle Now crew specialise in BMX, Scooters and Skateboarding so its a fantastic opportunity to learn new skills. During the session there will be mini challenges and competitions.

Make sure to bring your helmet, closed in shoes and your BMX, scooter or skateboard.

No booking required.

Level Up: Barista Fundamentals - ages 14 to 24

Where: Brew It Coffee Roasters, Unit 12/9 Inspiration Drive, Wangara
Cost: $30

Trying to get your foot in the door for work? The Barista Fundamentals class at Brew Coffee Roasters, Unit 12/9 Inspiration Dr, Wangara WA 6065, is a hands-on class that has been designed for people with little to no barista experience who are wanting to learn all the necessary skills and techniques required to break into the industry and gain employment as a Barista. The class is delivered in a fun, relaxed setting by a highly experience Head Barista. In this class participants will learn how to make all the coffees they see in their local café, including some valuable tricks of the trade.

Please wear enclosed shoes and bring a water bottle.

Can you solve the puzzle and escape from the forgotten pirate ship?

Ahoy, me hearties! Welcome to the mysterious world of 'Pirate's Plunder,' where the salty sea breeze carries whispers of untold riches. Your daring crew of treasure hunters has stumbled upon a forgotten pirate ship, the notorious Black Sea Soundrel, rumoured to be carrying the fabled 'Emerald Eye'.

Staff will be on hand to check you into the Escape Room session and bookings are time sensitive, so please be prompt or you may lose your spot!

Please arrive 5 minutes early so you can start your session on time.

Wanneroo Open Day - all ages

To kick off Youth Week 2024 The City's Youth Team are hosting an Open Night at Wanneroo Youth Centre. Including a Skate Jam with Freestyle Now, face painters, art activities, ice cream truck and free sausage sizzle. This is a great opportunity to bring the whole family with activities for all age groups. Showcase your scooter, skateboard and BMX skills under the Wanneroo lights!

A Green Thumb Gathering for WA Tree Festival 

"The best time to plant a tree is 20 years ago, the second best time to plant a tree is now.'

To celebrate WA Tree Festival come join us for an enchanting morning with Faerie Cara! Discover the wonder of trees through stories and songs. From saplings to old growth forests, you'll learn about the importance of your neighbourhood trees and how to take care of them.

Each participant will take home their very own baby tree to plant and grow.

Create a Jokebook with Cartoonist Mark Guthrie - ages 8+

Cartoonist and graphic designer Mark Guthrie will get everyone drawing and laughing in this interactive session.  Parents are invited to join in for the last 15 minutes to listen to the best jokes of the day.
