Appropriate social distancing, hygiene and parent/guardian contact details are required to participate.

Proof of Age: For some school holiday activity bookings you must ensure that the correct birthdate for each child is entered, and upload appropriate proof of age document for each child to confirm a booking (see below). You will not be able to proceed with booking until this step is finalised.

Accepted proof of age documents include: birth certificate/extract, school registration, passport, student card etc.

There is the option to upload proof of age to the online application or you can email it to youth.services@wanneroo.wa.gov.au

Yanchep National Park Play Trail - all ages

Cost: FREE (National park entry fee of $15 per vehicle applies.)

Since 1909, the Wanneroo Show has been the biggest and most exciting event on the calendar for our region. This September school holidays, the museum is celebrating its proud history with a host of Wanneroo Show-themed activities to inspire and excite you. With creative and fun activity stations based on many of the competition categories, there is no shortage of things to do.

Buzz about Bees with Faerie Cara - ages 5 and over

Explore the fascinating world of these busy honey makers and learn how they help our planet.

Bees play a vital role in keeping the environment healthy.  In this workshop there will be fun activities learning about the bees as workers and pollinators. Try your hand at beekeeping, having a look at the equipment needed, how to manage a hive and collect honey.

Level - Up: Toast it, Roast it, Drink it! 

Trying to get your foot in the door for work? The Barista Fundamentals class, is a hands-on class that has been designed for people with little to no experience, who are wanting to learn all the necessary skills and techniques required to break into the industry and gain employment as a Barista.

The class is delivered in a fun, relaxed setting by a highly experience Head Barista. Participants will learn how to make all the coffees they see in their local café.

The Youth Team travels to Charnwood Park in Two Rocks for a fun day in the park. There will be an inflatable, mini golf, the youth trailer with chill out zone, giant games and sausage sizzle.

This is a free event for all ages. No booking required.

CU @ Girrawheen Library - Sustainable Exploration Activities

Join Children's University at the Girrawheen Library to explore ways to turn trash into treasure!

Use upcycled CDs to create beautiful suncatchers to decorate indoor or outdoor spaces with Anne. Plus learn how to save food scraps and other organic waste and turn it into beautiful soil to help plants grow with Meg from Nutmegz Education.

Clarkson Youth Hub Open Day

Bring the whole family to enjoy an afternoon of live entertainment and engaging activities with local service providers. Check out our new youth room and find out what we get upto! Learn new skills with the Freestyle Now crew on the skate park, who can teach all abilities and help you build that confidence on the skate park.

There will be ice cream vouchers and coffee available from some amazing local businesses and a free sausage sizzle!

THIS EVENT IS FREE! BOOKINGS NOT REQUIRED!

Make sure to bring your Skateboard, Scooter or BMX and a helmet if participating in skate jam!

The Youth Team will be visiting Kingsbridge Park with a rock-climbing wall and laser tag , sport activities, the youth trailer with a chill out zone, giant games, skate park games and sausage sizzle. See you there!

Please wear enclosed shoes! Please note there is age and weight restrictions for activites.

  • Climbing wall- min. 6 years of age and max 100kg
  • Laser tag- min. 6 years of age.

Sustainable Fashion - ages 12 to 18 years

Where: Hainsworth Community Centre, 29 Hainsworth Ave, Girrawheen
Cost: FREE

Learn how to create your own personal style and build your wardrobe sustainably. Bring down your pre-loved items and let the 'Style Counsellor' teach you how to be sustainably stylish, how to dress seasonally, all while help reduce textile waste and save $$$.
