Clarkson artist gets public vote

Artist Janey Emery was the overwhelming crowd favourite in the City of Wanneroo’s 2017 Community Art Awards and Exhibition, taking out the People’s Choice Award.

The Clarkson resident won $600 for her sizeable acrylic and oil piece, titled “Harewood Forest”.

This is the second year in a row that Janey has won the People's Choice Award, and previously won the same category in 2013 and 2014.

The people’s choice award was based on public votes from those attending the exhibition over the past month.
