Quinns Rocks Caravan Park Redevelopment
Project update
Development of a new tourism and hospitality venue at the former caravan park site at Lot 211 (2) Quinns Road Mindarie has entered an exciting new stage, with site handover to the developer for construction occurring in mid-July 2025.
The development will include ecotourism accommodation (glamping), café and event space (including accessible community space), privately funded, developed and operated by a third-party developer (under a ground lease from the City).

July 2025 - Site handover
The City of Wanneroo officially handed over the site to the developer for construction of the Dunes Beach Resort.

May 2025 – Planning approval
The developer secured planning approvals from the Western Australian Planning Commission in September 2024 and May 2025.

December 2023 – Council approved lease documentation
Council approved lease documentation (in an Agreement for Lease and a Ground Lease) on 12 December 2023. Documents were signed in late February 2024.

Wanneroo Council will consider the proposed Agreement for Lease and Lease at the 12 December Ordinary Council Meeting.
