Andy Warhol Collection

The Wanneroo Regional Gallery is proud to present a collection of works from one of the 20th century's most influential artists, Andy Warhol.
The Andy Warhol works are a long-term loan from the National Gallery of Australia with support from the Australian Government as part of Sharing the National Collection initiative. The partnership will see the Wanneroo Regional Gallery display over 50 artworks by Andy Warhol over a two-year period from March 2024, with a small selection of pieces on display and rotated every three months.
A new, discrete selection of Warhol's Flowers series will be on display from 11 September, along with a larger-than-life painting of Elvis.
These works will be exhibited in a small section of the Gallery alongside the City’s main exhibition, Mariw Minaral: Alick Tipoti, followed by Walking through a Songline.

Mariw Minaral: Alick Tipoti
When: 7 August 2024 to 26 October 2024
Where: Wanneroo Regional Gallery, Wanneroo Library and Cultural Centre, Rocca Way, Wanneroo
Presented as part of the 2024 Indian Ocean Craft Triennial.

With more than 25 years of art practice, Tipoti is respected for his work in regenerating cultural knowledge and language.
Guided by the traditional cultural practices of his people, Mariw Minaral brings together some of the finest examples of Tipoti’s unique and intricate linocut printmaking practice. The exhibition will also showcase his award-winning sculptural works, contemporary masks and film.

Community Art Awards & Exhibition 2024

The Wanneroo Community Art Awards is a major feature of the City’s cultural calendar and has been held annually since 2001.

The City of Wanneroo Community Art Awards and Exhibition has been a highly-regarded annual event on the City's cultural calendar since 2001.
It is returning for yet another year with 143 artworks on show featuring a diversity of talent in the categories of Painting, Works on Paper, Sculpture and Photo, Film and Digital Media.
Visitors will be able to vote for their favourite artwork in the ‘People’s Choice’ award and artists will be in the running to take home a share of the $18,700 prize pool.
