Proposed Amendment No. 207 to District Planning Scheme No. 2 (Girrawheen)

Community engagement has now closed. Comments were submitted from 25/07/2023 to 08/09/2023.

The Minister for Planning approved Amendment No. 207.  The approval notice was published in the Government Gazette on 1 March 2024 and took effect from that date.

Local Planning Scheme Amendment Available for Inspection 
City of Wanneroo District Planning Scheme No. 2 - Amendment No. 207

Notice is hereby given that the local government of the City of Wanneroo has initiated the above mentioned planning scheme amendment for the purpose of placing zoning and residential density controls from the City’s Hainsworth Local Structure Plan No. 98 (ASP 98) into the City’s District Planning Scheme No. 2. 

Following an approval of Amendment No. 207, the City expects the Western Australian Planning Commission to revoke ASP 98. At that time, the City will also amend local development plans that apply over the land subject to Amendment No. 207.
