Information
Leatherback Park is located at 1 Fairy Parade, Alkimos. The active reserve is currently used by sporting clubs and Alkimos Beach Primary School.
As part of the City of Wanneroo’s Capital Works Program, a sports amenities building is being constructed to assist the local sporting clubs and other reserve users.
To ensure the development meets the needs of the community, feedback is invited on the concept plan through to COB, Friday 15 March 2019. The concept plan includes the City’s standard provision of:
- Unisex changerooms (2 x 45m2);
- Kiosk (18m2);
- Male, female and accessible toilets (35m2);
- First aid room (10m2);
- Umpires room (15m2); Club storage (2 x 20m2);
- Multipurpose room (100m2); and
- External verandah.
Onsite meeting
City Officers will be onsite to answer any questions from 5:30pm on Wednesday, 6 March.
It is anticipated that construction will occur from October 2019 to June 2020.
